eduID.cz federation supports various Entity Categories (EC) for Identity Providers (IdPs) and Service Providers (SPs).

There are specific categories for IdPs and SPs suitable only for eduID.cz federation, however, additional worldwide recognized and standardized categories available within eduGAIN are supported, too. Currently only Research & Scholarship is supported, but SIRTFI and GÉANT Data Protection Code of Conduct will be available soon.
